Wisbech

When I was a kid, my Dad used to get the Pink 'Un every week. I had teams from the Ang Comb and the other league (the name of which escapes me for a sec, the higher standard one) set up in a Subbuteo league. Wisbech (which I pronounced Wiz-Becch) were league champs, and went into Europe, whizzing through some early rounds before beating Inter Milan in the European Cup Final. March Town only made the semis of the Cup Winners Cup. This campaign spoiled both their league seasons, and Soham won the league the next season.

I can't remember much beyond that, tho this may've been because I discovered my brother's porn stash around that time.
