Although I am not s**tting it as you are.
The lack of transfer activity is what is alarming me. I've always maintained the belief from the end of last season that we will need several quality additions made to the side in order to avoid being right down in a relegation fight.
I also beleive that Lambert held this view. Hell, he even stated it somewhere.
We supposedly have the biggest transfer budget in the clubs history available to the manager but there is no evidence so far of that being the case.
Another thing I find worrying is that so far we have kept players that I regard as dead wood. Ward, Barnett, Crofts, Martin and Lappin.
Of course it is early days and all this could change...
