I'm a sport fan

and love almost anything with a story to tell, particularly with a British angle. This afternoon will be amazing, one of the biggest events in our sporting history. One in three people in this country will be watching!

As for Murray himself, well I was always more of a Tim fan - an unfailingly good sort in the face of a lot of sneering. But no matter how dour he may be, Murray is a truly brilliant British sporting hero and while it's people's choice to be indifferent about him and tennis, actively hating him is frankly just weird and a damn sight more miserable than the man himself.
