re: signing them without really knowing what we wanted to do with them

Seems to be a running theme. I don't think Worthy knew what to do with Bentley or the Doc last season, and the same goes for Marney and Jarrett this year.

I'm all for signing squad players, but it would be handy if they had a defined purpose, rather than just another body.
