If you've sprained your ankle, you should be left behind with just a grenade. I've seen it in all the fillums, the one with the dodgy ankle always gets left behind. Sometimes with a revolver but always with a grenade and a promise that whoever finds you will have access to proper medical facilities, but everyone knows that is bollocks. As your mates disappear over the horizon, they will comfort each other "he'll be fine" "the Geneva convention requires..." then a short thud will echo across the fields and your name will never be mentioned again. It's just the way it is.
