I never did get why terrorists target important people and/or symbolic places. Since the

whole point of terrorism is meant to be to install terror in the general public, I think you'd achieve more by blowing up a hairdresser's in Hemsby* or something. That would make people feel unsafe anywhere in the country, not just in the "obvious" places like the underground system, major cities, near military / political / royal locations etc.
