Two new signings........ good start.

Whittaker is the kind of versatile player we need if we want to carry on from where we left off last season in having strong options on the bench.
With R Martin and Naughton last season we were able to cover the whole back four with just one defensive bench player.

Butterfield seems like a Wes type player with a bit more power. He has stated he likes to play just behind 1 striker.

So far we have two new signings with very little spent in transfer fees.

Obviously with Whitbread, Alby and Drury leaving we need to replace those players.

I think its a good solid start to our transfer business.

This season is going to be much tougher than last season in my opinion.
We have to improve defensively to compete.

I think Hughton will be looking to put his stamp on the squad with players he knows and trusts.

Curtis Davis seems to tick all the boxes.
He is the type of experienced quality player that would improve our squad.
