He was doing a good job in both cases. Don't think he's that matey with the players but more a good bloke they get on with and respect.

Handled the press conf well today and showed good judgment given the need for players to have their ego fed. Unlike whoever in the clubs media team didn't realise announcing the holt deal at the same time would risk overshadowing the other two!
