so much more to NCFC than the ghouls he scores. His leadership has been exemplary, up until the minor aberration of a transfer request, and was the corner-stone of team togetherness.
I understand the fact that all he wanted was to secure a future for him and his family for the next few years. I just think that he was poorly advised at a time that other, more important issues were being dealt with at the club.
Well done Chris Hughton. Well done Grant Holt. It's great to have the positivity returning after weeks of disappointment and uncertainty.
My optimism for the coming season is rapidly returning. CH has hit the ground running (as he had to really), and I'm more convinced with every passing day that he's the man to take us on, and move us up. Now, if we could persuade Ian Culverhouse to stay with us, that would be a further MAHOOSIVE boost to our chances of staying in the Premier League for yet another season, and perhaps beyond.
