Work dilemma - what would the Wrath do?

I started a new job a month ago. Been chatting daily about the Euros and cricket with bloke who sits opposite. He's a good lad who knows his sport and music. Always interesting conversation and plenty to chat about.

We had a work do the other night and after a few beers he came out to me.....

He was very apologetic as he admitted he's a lapsed Ips**m fan. Used to have a season ticket but gave it up a few years ago.

He's obviously been plucking up the courage to tell me for weeks as he knew I was a Norwich fan from early on.

What do I do next week at work? Pretend it didnt happen and carry on as normal or tell the rest of the team and shame him?
