I'm not going to go into great detail because it could start a gay off or a never ending argument and I don't want that because it's late already!
One point I will make is that Roy's deep lying tactics alllowed Pirlo acres of space. If England were more positive and pushed higher up the pitch then he would have had less time and space to think on the ball. Simple tactics and an obvious problem from Sunday night, but Hodgson never changed our set up.
Pirlo produced a killer ball several times and Italy would have easily beaten England in the ninety minutes if they had somebody better (or more in form) than Balotelli up front. England were extremely lucky throughout the tournament and last Sunday was no exception to that in my opinion.
