I'm sick of this "english players need to play like the spanish" s**t

Bloody Hanson and co reviewing England's performances and again its "grass roots" and "we need to play like the Spanish"
I know this years team isn't the most talented but actually we have not once played like an "English" team in many years maybe 1996 was the last time.
Why are people do frightened to play like a premier league team ... It might not work but surely that's how we play ...
For example why only play Carroll 1 game ? I'm not his biggest fan but if your going to play 4-4-2 then surely you need an "english targetman" to play with the "English 4-4-2 system"
I watched a documentary about international football and I saw jurgen klinsman talking about the development of the current German team .... He said they found a system that expressed their culture in football and stuck to it ... He talked of the "barcelona way" and said this "way" had suited the culture and the whole international system is built on it.
Build a British system .. Millions watch the premier league every week for a reason
