Christmas & birthday presents...

...being wrapped in copies of the Pink Un by my grandmother. Not was actual wrapping paper, she wasn't that hard up, but for a time we lived overseas and she used newspaper to pad out mailing boxes etc.

So when we returned to the UK back around '91/92 ish and kids at school were choosing teams, Norwich were the only team I knew anything at all about.

Mind you I was born in Norwich and spent a couple of months as a nipper living there, so I'd have plumped for Norwich on town of birth grounds in any event - I never really had a notable 'local' football team as we moved around too much until settling in Gloucester, which sent me more down the rugger following route as a result.
