Some Frencher stuff I've liked and can't believe no-one mentioned!:
- Betty Blue
- Three Colours trilogy (Red, White, Blue - not necessarily in that order...) - although Kieslowski is Polish, the films are in French (although one might be Polish...) The Double Life of Veronique is really good too.
- A Bout de Souffle (Breathless) (original not the crap US remake)
- Leon is brilliant too even if it's not in French...
