although I would say that team wouldn't get cut to shreds because it would keep the ball. Ferdinand and Richards are both good at bringing the ball out from the back, Britton is a quality passer, Johnson is a sensational dribbler from deep or in and around the box. Then you have the steel of Gerrard and Rooney to harrass for the ball.

Maybe it wouldn't have worked on the night due to certain variables but don't try and tell me that the Milners, Parkers and Carrolls of this world are so much better!
