Charlton's not a bad player - but he's got to play in the right position, ie defender. He's trying is his best, but he's been asked by his boss to fulfull a role he's not capable of.
Looking at it very simplisticly - just like the Holt situation last season. Holt gave his best, but he clearly wasn't up to the job.
Whose fault is it?? The person who asked him to do the job, but did not recognise he wasn't good enough.
