There's no denying that. Still there's no denying Worthy failed to add depth to the midfield. Damn the day Worthy fielded Charlton in midfield in that pre-season friendly and thought "oh - he wasn't bad in there - he'll do a job for us if we get desperate".

Seriously though - we don't really know what the financial constraints are at the club in terms of how much money we could afford in wages to make the squad deeper.
