Sounds a bit pointless

like Charles21 said, it renders the group stage meaningless.

With four groups of six the competition would be far more aggressive and you would see teams going all out to get wins because a load of draws would be useless in a five game group table.

More teams will play for draws in a format that allows the third place teams to qualify (not all, obviously) because s**t teams will know that scraping a couple of draws and a victory against the next s**ttest team will get them through.

Also you would get more games overall, sixty in the group stages and the same seven in the knockouts.
