Riga...

Has anyone off of on here been there for a lads' weekend away?

Considering going there later in the year with a few mates... Can anyone recommend a hostel or cheap apartment or something along those lines please?

Also, is it a lively place? Done quite a few Eastern European cities over the past few years and they all seem relatively perky, is the same true of Riga?
