Then I think both he and McNally will have to come out and accept a bit of responsibility for the spat. Even if McNally was totally in the right you would hope he will realise that some PR recovery work is needed to avoid a situation where Holt became a target for the boo boys.

Still a big if though! At present I'm still thinking he's more likely to leave.
