FFS what's up with you people??????? The man ruined MotD weekly throughout the entire 80s, wittering on like a daft old uncle that pops around and talks through the film you were hoping to enjoy, and never saying ANYTHING insightful, maintaining a near-perfect unbroken supply of absolutely FUCK ALL OF NOTE, and only showing any interest when he was covering Liverf**kingpool or Holland and tossing himself off into his flask while blithering on about how billy billy brilliant Barnes and/or Gullit were. I have thrown more things at my TV screen because of that vacuous old granny than for any other reason.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH I HATED HIM SO MUCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH that even now I can barely listen to him without beginning to twitch.

And on the recent subject of things you've never done which may shock others: I've never had a problem with Tyldesley. Beglin, yes, a complete dick, but Tyldesley seems OK to me.
