I've been self-disciplined enough to ignore pants for at least a year. But the blizzard of new trolling usernames was sufficiently disruptive - and unpleasant - that I joined norway in pointing it out.

As pants himself says about it: "I've had a laugh doing it, why? Because it's brought out the itchy troll side of the same 5 users that snipe at me on a regular basis."

Done purely to get a rise. As frank an admission of trolling as you'll ever get from him, I would guess.
