Therefore you would never share a beer with anyone who has dressed in fancy dress as any of the above (plus the Vikings who I omitted but have been referred to above).

I would venture to suggest that you don;t have many drinking partners.

Its a bit of fun and the only people offended by it are those who go out of their way to be offended by anything.

Throughout history there have been many wars and before the crusades many Christians had been slaughtered by Muslim armies. If someone dressed up as a Muslim warrior would I find that offensive - no I wouldn't because it would be fancy dress!
