tbf it is pretty archaic and pointless

Doubt those wearing the costumes really understand the significance though, so I don't blame them.

I am not a typical Guardianite (I enjoy humour and am anti PC) but you wouldn't catch me wearing one, or sharing a beer with someone wearing one either.
