World Cup 2010, two groups (A and G) were strong on paper, A ended up being a disapointment. The rest of the groups were drab.

Look at Groups B and C in this Euros tournament, both have three very strong teams, Group D is also solid. Only Group A is predicatable with the Russians looking like obvious winners.

Also, World Cup 2010 quarter finals; four S.American teams and three Europeans, what does that tell you about the quality of the rest?
