I hope they do get someone good.

They've been (seemingly) totally straight with us over Hughton and not caused a big fuss. I remember a lot of their fans, despite their reputation, being completely decent before and after the play-off final as well. I've been to a few games there in my time as a stoodent in Brum - when they were in the old 4th division - and it was always a good experience. They have always been the underdog unsuccessful team in the city and their fans have a largely resigned and phlegmatic approach to their team's struggles which maybe a stay in the Premier League has diluted somewhat.

I know, I can't forgive Jasper Carrott, but that's just typical of Birmingham City - even their famous fans are mediocre.
