I cannot think, of any time, during Worthy's tenure, where his name has been seriously linked with another club-not even when we got to the play off final or walked promotion, you'd think someone, somewhere, might have thought "he could do a job for us".
So he had a watertight, long contract based on the fact that...well, nothing really, he just had one, it is certainly something that was always to his benefit, rather than the clubs insurance against him being wooed away. His ambition is to manage in the Premiership again, can anyone see him doing that in the near future?
