...but in most management crisis situations you bolt down the hatches and play along with the company line so as to show solidarity to whoever is in the firing line and arrest dissention from those below and above you...

Change can happen, of course, but it has to be wheeled out in small chunks so as not to demonstrate that said manager, or management team, were wrong, thus giving everyone else more ammo to shoot with...

I suspect the same is going on at Norwich right now, what with the board backing Worthy, Ashton backing Worthy etc...ot trying to teach you to suck eggs...
