what Sheff U are showing is that if you get teh midfield right you can get away with average strikers. Charlton have shown the same in the Prem, having exceeded expectations for 5 years without a top notch Prem class striker at any point (Euell? Bartlett? Johansson?) thanks to making sure they have quality midfielders (Holland, Murphy etc). Worthy comes from a long-ball school that thinks midfielders are just people who run around a lot between the defenders and forwards, hence you can get away there with people who have nothing much but work ethic or players out of position. That is why Worthy will never cut it at the top level - he has no grasp of the nature of the modern game. If this club REALLY wants to establish itself in the Prem he should go as soon as possible.
