1. No he didn't. Worthy took us from struggling Championship club to champions in a few years. Lambert took us from struggling league one club on the verge of going bust to premiership safety in three years. As far as achievement go, that is monumental.
2. The league was more open competitively in 1993. Yes, we were expected to go down and finished third but it's a very different game now.
3. Irrelevant. Yes, it's time to move on but being ambitious for the future has nothing to do with acknowledging the good that another manager has done.
4. That's up to you but the board wanted to finish 17th and if he thinks he should be aiming higher while he is at the most promising stage of his career, a move elsewhere was perfectly understandable. We've budgeted for relegation, Lambert won't want that on his CV in a year's time.
