My point was..

That it would be nice to have a bit more of a 'cuddly' manager who is not constantly hard to read like Lambert was.

My massive number one choice is Chris Hughton, always has been and always will be. I just think Malky is not worth dismissing too quickly. Never really failed as a manager.

Of course it matters if he's a good manager or not - but his record already tells us he is.
