Its not suprising Lambert has left.... just odd that he has left for Villa

If he had left for Liverpool I don't think anyone would have been surprised.
They have a huge fan base and a huge budget that we could never match.
They play in Europe and challange for trophies every single season..........

Villa.....they just seem to sell their best players to the top 6 clubs.........Not sure how that is a recipe for ambition?

I know someone today made the excellent point that Lambert has never been at a club where he isnt the top dog or a club that has real player power........ it will be real interesting how he handles all these higher paid personalities.
Lets see how he handles owners who want instant results and want to know why they are paying a fortune to players sitting on the bench........
