Malky wouldn't have that benefit, he would basically have to adapt straight away, to the prem and to our squad requirements. I'm not saying Malky can't do it, but we need somebody who is 100% ready, there are some doubts (if minor) about him
I also believe some are against appointing him due to how Cardiff approached the play offs: however, Watford played some good stuff under him so that wouldn't concern me.
I don't think your Malky scapegoat theory rings true, most look back at him very fondly NOW, although I do agree that he was given a lot of stick as a player at times.
