Would any football team win

With a central midfield pairing of Hughes and Charlton? Ever? It's just seem SO SO SO obvious that it actually makes my head hurt. Would you see a top side in this division play their short, slow, one footed left back in the middle of the park? Don't think so. Jarret might not be up to pace but atleast that's his position. Marney might not be fit but atleast that's his position. Why not play Flem up front?! It would make as much sense.
