We all moaned about swansea being the media darlings but it has worked to our advantage

Surely the only reason that rodgers is on their shortlist and not lambert is the media's absolute fascination with swansea

If you look at the jobs the two men have done then lambert is miles clear.

Rodgers took over a team that had finished 8th and 7th in the championship and played some lovely football. He has carried that on and done brilliantly.

Lambert has taken over a club on its knees and who were 23rd in league 1 and turned us completely around. We also do play some good stuff at times as well.

It seems to me that media perception is very important with a lot of owners.

The same with Martinez. The 4 season prior to him going to wigan they averaged 43.5 points. Under him they average 40.33 points. However he is currently viewed as some kind of footballing genius.
