WORTHINGTON POST-MATCH CHAT TRANSCRIPT

For all of those who are interested, esp our fantastic away support. I typed it as it came through, so this is the chat in essence and the best I can manage.

CG: After Luton, today is a bit of d?j? vu..

NW: Over the course of 90 mins we were 2nd best all over the park. It was poor performance and I cant justify anything. We have got to be a lot better, we can be a lot better, we have got to get to basics.

CG: So what's happening?

NW: It's hard to put the finger on it. We have had changes in the team but we have got to be harder in the tackle. Work ethic has got to be upped. The one strength we have had is the work ethic and getting into people. So it is something we have to start doing.

CG: Any idea why?

NW: A little bit of lack of confidence. Im not going to make excuses. We have all got to stand up and be counted, player, management, we all have to stick together. We have to work our way through it and come out of other side. At the moment it is hard work, and it is going to be alot harder to swing it around.

CG: After Luton desperate not to concde, but we were 3-0down after 40 minutes, why?

NW: Too many individual mistakes which led to conceding early goals. Got to look at it and put it together.

CG: Good away turnourt, and it was clear that they not happy..

NW: I don?t blame them. I was as much embarressed by the overall performance. Nothing to hide. We have got to be better.

CG: How does it affect you?

NW: 'Well it is frustrating, disappointing, sitting there and want to make changes but it is not easy. It is hard to take, but we have good players. We just have got to get back to basics.

CG: If the run goes on, the confidence must be affected?

NW: Of course, we have got to perform and play, put an end to it. Confidence will come back. Some players low, got to stand up and be counted.

CG: And our biggest challenge?

NW: Cut out the individual mistiakes, up the tempo and worktrate. We do jobs better, and if we do that we will come out the other side.
