It really is just a word in the Spanish speaking world

it doesn't have the same connotation as in English. My girlfriend is called Negrita all the time, she isn't black but has a darker skin tone than most Chileans, which is what Worz means above. I personally don't use it as I don't feel it's necessary to define people in such a way but I'm not offended if I hear the word as long as it's not together with a word like arsehole, f**ker or motherf**ker or something.
