Contenders for MotM

Ruddy - great saves, kept us in it

Naughton - skinned once or twice, but mostly very solid, and great on the ball, helped set up key attacks

Bennett - great in the air and 2 crucial blocks

Martin - Russell Martin, a mans man.

Lappin - into the team, out of position, up against Rosicky, Benayoun, Oxlade Chamberlain and Gervinho, great job

Elliot Bennett - another fantastic shift, and an assist into the bargain

Johnny Howson - another fantastic shift, and an assist into the bargain

Bradley Johnson - good on the ball for most the game, and harried his opponents - just DON"T SHOOT! EVER!

Wes Hoolahan - Got an assist, and, despite misplacing some passes, created loads of space and was at the heart of lots of our attacking movment.

Grant Holt - Behemothic

Simeon Jackson - one of the best game of his season, great darting runs, constant pressure, challenged every ball, could have finished better after that run.

Aaron WIlbraham - entered into the physical spirit of the game, kept the pressure on, won some good balls in the air

Anthony Pilkington - um, gave it away a few times actually - but took part

Steve Morison - BOOM
