It ain't perfectionism Beece, it's guilt

See, the software I used to record the individual tracks doesn't permit in-track editing, which I used to be able to do on my old pooter. To keep this brief, let's just say I can't be arsed with the faff (I used to find it boring even the other way).

It does, however, allow one to clip the beginnings and ends - but when I saved each track individually I found that it saves the bits you've trimmed, too, so if I've pressed Record early and waited for the cue, then I have to edit that wait off the track(s), because if I don't, then jAC has to do it. And that seems a bit lazy and rude.

My daughter was round the other day. She said "Oh, guitars leaning against furniture - it's like the old days". But back then it was because I was using them, not merely trying to force myself to finish something! Heart's not in it, see.
