Anyone any clue as to what was written on that big sign

some guy and his missus were holding up at full time? It was quite big, black lettering. I think I saw CLOWN / DOWN or something like that written on it. She held it up while the team trudged off, folded it up and walked off. She was sitting to the right hand side of the goal, towards the front.
