Ratings and thoughts from last night

Ratings:
Green 6 : Apart from falling over, did nothing wrong
Colin 4.5 : Don't think he has ever experienced the pace of attack that Luton had. Didn't go forward.
Dav 5 : Not up to his usual high standards. Silly tackle to get sent off.
Doc 5 : Won lots in the air but it kept coming straight back (no midfield)
Brennan 5 : Finally in his favoured position but I still don't rate him. Does anyone?
Charlton 3 : Not his fault, not his position. Too slow to play in midfield, or anywhere for that matter. Great impression of Gary Holt just sitting on the back four and made no attempt to stop the cross for the 4th goal.
Hughes 5 : Didn't look fit in the first half but improved after the break.
Hux 6.5 : Did some really great work but some sloppy play also. Needs to learn that if 3 people are marking him, he should pass or cross rather than running into trouble.
Henderson 7.5 : Really impressed playing not in his favoured position. Good crossing, workrate, shooting and linked well with Jarvis. Better than Marney? Maybe
Ashton 8 : Back to his best. Great goal and could have had 4 or 5.
Jarvis 8 : It was like we were playing 2 strikers for once. Made good runs into the channel and harried defenders, something we have missed without Leon. He is tall as well so Nige should like him. Must start on Saturday.
Jarrett 6 : Looked better than Charlie in 5 minutes. Should have started.
Mcveigh 4: Nearly forget to rate him. Enough said.

My ratings were maybe a bit high but I try to look on the bright side.
Basically we had loads of chances which we should have taken more of. But in the end it was the midfield that cost us which was at full strength apart from Safri. Does it mean that Charlton is going to be cover for Safri in January as well? That's a sackable offence in itself. Either we bring in midfiled cover or we are going to struggle.
