I like what Tottenham have done.
Get in a quality Coach. Give him the brief of working with and coaching the 1st team squad. Period. All he does is work on the football side of things.
Worthy bangs on in the "Canary Greats" book about how he likes to be hands on and involved with everything. Can't agree. He should be dealing with the coaching and thats it.
A'la Tottenham, you get in someone else to deal with the bigger picture. And, thirdly, as Chelsea did very successfully with that Richardson (?) chap, have someone deal with all the admin matters.
I'd like to see us appoint a young, "hungry" and innovative coach, nationality not an issue, desire to succeed paramount-and to have first team matters and first team matters alone as his brief.
