Do people really want Ched Evans back?

Apart from the obvious and looming sword of Damocles hanging over his career, the man is an arsehole. I have a friend who works as a sports scientist at the Blades, and he says Evans epitomises every negative stereotype about modern footballers (and this was before the rape charge). There's no way he'd fit the culture at the club now, and I don't want him anywhere near it.
