...went into the bar at half time to drink and moan...

On the corner TV, with no sound, was Delia. "Oh look", I said, "Delia's on the telly" and then we turned back to moaning about the game (as did everyone else)..

The media storm didn't register until I got back to London the following evening and saw her on the back page of the Standard...

Crazy times...
