Completely agree.

We are - weirdly, for us - up there with the most stable and soundly-run clubs in the entire country. We can't go mad on transfers and wages but we can back our manager to the absolute limit of what's viable - need ~?5m to spend in January? Nice one Paul, go get 'em - and he's probably second only to BaconFace in terms of job security.

If we were in the Champs and still knocking on the door I'd be sure he was moving on this year. As it is *we* can deliver what he could get from the Everton/Villa/wherever job, with the added emotional/security etc. ties. Going nowhere and this little tit from the Beeb is clealry just fishing for viewers.
