Michael Oliver - a heartfelt and sincere apology

Sometimes in the heat of the moment we say things that, on reflection, we regret. I may have used intemperate and inappropriate language in describing Mr Oliver's performance. Indeed I may even have gone so far as to make the ridiculous suggestion that his failure to award three clear Norwich penalties and send off one Spurs player means that he is incompetent or corrupt, or both.

Having reviewed the match video I now realise that I was entirely in error. It was four penalties and two sendings off.
