step-dad of one of my schools mates was nick-named Garrold

he was a c**t

once gave his step-son (my mate) a walloping for leaving the lid off the ketchup bottle

though did hear he turned into something remarkably less than a c**t after his wife died - though by that stage all the step-sons had moved out, leaving only his real sons behind
