I didn't know him personally, but followed him on twitter, always had an opinion on most things, but also seemed to be quite a reflective sort of character. I remembering posting a bunch of pictures from a church where a singer from the 1970's was buried where he had travelled quite a way to visit.

It was quite a shock to hear the news. Seems quite a strange thing to say I as I'm sure I've not met him but through twitter I got quite an insight into his thoughts and views.
