My haircut used to be ?8 and I would ask for a quid back from my tenner. I'm tipping a reasonable amount (12%) - but why dido I feel like a tightwad?

However, much to my immense relief, he has now put his prices up to ?9 and my tenner is handed over with no more qualms.
