I hate that argument

The concept can be unrealistic, but the actions of the characters should absolutely NOT.

Walking Dead season 2 had genuinely the worst writing I've known from a drama of this sort. Only Prison Break seasons 2 onwards compares for dreadfulness.

I watched every episode just waiting to see if something would actually HAPPEN. And then, towards the final 3 episodes, they forced something to HAPPEN by making the characters do utterly ridiculous things. So unnecessary, as norway says, season 1 was brilliant.
